After studying business administration, Plagemann joined FOR/MAT Technology GmbH in 1999 and began his career as a sales and service coordinator. In 2001, he assumed responsibility for service and sales and became a member of the management team. Since 2004, he has been responsible for the position of Director Sales in the renamed FiANTEC Provisionslösungen GmbH.
