How the assessment was made
The Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) initially carried out a comprehensive analysis for the ‘Handelsblatt Top IT Service Providers’ ranking. Over 3,300 specialists from 580 IT service companies in Germany were identified and categorised into a peer group. These companies were then surveyed on their reputation in their respective areas of consulting or activity.
In order to ensure that the results are objective and unbiased, both evaluations for the company itself and voting cartels were excluded. Only companies that received a minimum number of independent recommendations were categorised as renowned and included in the Handelsblatt Research Institute’s top list.
This list recognises the most outstanding IT service providers from various industries and areas of focus. In addition to the general award, special recommendations were also made for sectors such as automotive or finance & insurance as well as for specialisms such as artificial intelligence or the implementation and maintenance of software.
