A lecture by Thomas Forwe and Dr. Andreas Alin

At the first Festival of Change, hosted by Handelsblatt in Cologne at the end of June 2019, our consultants Dr. Andreas Alin and Thomas Forwe discussed the hurdles in the commercial use of artificial intelligence (AI) . The topic is currently high on the agenda of many companies . The broad spectrum of applications and the multitude of technical factors provoke the historical comparison with the steam engine. Nevertheless, the difficulty in introducing AI lies less in the subject matter itself than in creating the organizational framework and cultural embedding within the company. When such projects fail, it is primarily due to a lack of soft skills, especially since operational use requires a new way of thinking and working.
