To manage our accounts, we are hiring several
senior IT consultants / specialists (m/f).
Your Role
As senior IT consultant or specialist, you will manage accounts from various industries and lines of business. Your responsibility ranges from needs analysis to specification of complex solutions that meet your client’s budget, quality and timing constraints. You will advise businesses on system landscape design, assess technical support of mission-critical processes and translate operational requirements into optimization strategies and software specifications. You will evaluate alternative approaches, model architectures, specify and implement technical solutions, plan and coordinate roll-outs.
You will formulate your customer’s IT strategy, overseeing the set-up of their IT organization, processes and services. In general, you will spend more time working at your client’s than in your office.
Your Profile
After graduation in information technology, business informatics, engineering or science with an above-average academic record, you have worked a minimum of three years on the type of assignment outlined above. You are familiar with current project and process methods such as ITIL, PMI, Six Sigma, and with modelling languages like UML. Ideally, you have gained some expertise in consultancy, finance, automotive or retail. As regards technology, you are just as versed in object-oriented programming, J2EE, frameworks, developer tools and databases as in application servers, web services and XML.
Besides analytic and conceptual prowess, we expect leadership, motivation, resilience, pragmatism and creativity from our senior staff. Your demeanour should be confident and obliging, amicable, reliable, trustworthy and loyal. Key qualities and skills include team spirit, mobility, and an excellent command of both written and spoken German and English.
