I began working in consultancy while going to university. Finding and implementing a solution for my client means great fun to me. At Consileon, I started as project manager. After only two days working in our head office, I went out to see my customer. Thanks to the warm reception into the team, time flew during the first few months.
Soon my responsibilities grew. Today, I am principal. Besides taking charge of clients and projects, that position requires leadership, which I define as setting a good example: You have to be able to inspire your colleagues, motivate them and do a first-class job.
Our best practices include information sharing and dialogue. Specialists and managers communicate on an equal footing and complement each other. Instead of setting up a rigid hierarchy, we work as a team held together by common values, realigning ourselves as each new assignment demands. We are a learning, responsive, continually improving organization, focusing on crafting interdisciplinary solutions on our client’s behalf.
Consileon is a highly professional environment granting you a high level of freedom and responsibility to work out bespoke solutions with your international colleagues and customers. In my experience, this constellation is unique within Germany’s consulting industry.
